Twist off top of flashlight
Pull off top and place to the side
Dump old batteries out of the base
Remove batteries from battery casing
Put new batteries in casing
Put the battery case back into the flashlight
Screw top of flashlight on.

Battery Replacement Instructions:
Twist off top of flashlight
Pull off top and place to the side
